GB64 Recommended Games...

Speed King
Jimbo says: Re-released by Mastertronic in 1986, this classic from Digital Integration boasts a load of different tracks and addictive challenging gameplay!

Wonderboy in Monsterland
Neo-Rio says: This conversion maintains everything that made the original arcade game fun. It's a platform roleplaying game of the highest order. Lots of varied enemies to fight, and lots of gold and goodies to get!

Terra Cresta
Neo-Rio says: One of the better upwards scrolling shootemups on the C64. It was a joy to load from tape too... it had that wonderful Ocean Loader music.

Buck Rogers - Planet of Zoom
Neo-Rio says: This used to be a fairly popular game back in the 80s as I remember. Looks dated now of course, but I remember it for its nostalgia value.

Time Tunnel
Jimbo says: Great little arcade-adventure where you have to visit different time periods and solve puzzles and collect items. Has a nice classical soundtrack too!

Championship Sprint
graveyardjohn says: Half the fun of this Super Sprint sequel is the easy to use construction kit. Always wanted a course made almost entirely of bridges and tunnels? Nows your chance.

Dan Dare - Pilot of the Future
Neo-Rio says: This is one of the best action adventure games on the C64 in my opinion. Very challenging, very testing, and very addictive. You'll play this one over and over again until you've bombed the Mekon.

Little Computer People
Pugsy says: This is not really a game, but it was some simple fun. Unfortunately, this 'game' was the grandfather of the Sims series of games which now seem to have got completely out of control.

180
graveyardjohn says: The best darts simulation I've ever seen (but then, that doesn't say much does it?). Get three treble twenties to hear the immortal '180' announcement, though you'll need a nine dart finish to be able to beat 'Jammy Jim' in the final!
