Summer Games
Matt Larsen says: My favorite C64 sports game ever. My friends and I were so competitive, that the losers would have to go outside and run 3 laps around the house barefoot in the dead of winter (in snow)!

R1-D1
Neo-Rio says: I remember this game more for the nostalgia and the music. Get R1-D1 to the exit, but you'll have to collect all the keys in the correct order.
|
Tracker
Neo-Rio says: You've got a squadron of 6 ships who have to hunt down and blast pods throughout a maze of tunnels, in order to make the area safe. Thing is, there are enemies out there who will try and shoot your squad down. Good Luck!

Bubble Bobble
Jimbo says: Probably the best 2-player platformer in existence, and a great arcade conversion! "I'm forever bloooowing bubbleeeees"...
|
Quinx
Neo-Rio says: They don't make games with plots like this anymore. You have to stop worms doodling over your precious piece of paper, and eating it into pieces!
|
Arc of Yesod, The
AleTsg says: Simple but fashinating game, I have spent on it more that one life!
|
Wizardry V - Heart of the Maelstrom
Steve says: True RPGs are nowadays seldomly seen. Sad. But why don't you launch your C=64 or emulator and give this one a try. As all of the wizardry RPGs, this one is a great classic game with a strong plot and a very challenging engine. Enter the kingdom of Llylgamyn! To bad part VI (Bane of the cosmic forge) has never been released on the C=64
|
Maniac Mansion
Neo-Rio says: Three kids go into a creepy old house run by a mad scientist to rescue their friend. And thus begins a classic graphic adventure game from yesteryear. Easy to get into, tricky to solve... and get out alive!
|
Leather Goddesses of Phobos
Steve says: Naughty but nice would be the category for this game. Mindbogglingly crazy story, true classic interactive fiction by infocom and a game with 3 modes as far as I remember. One mode only can be played if you're 21 and over :-)
