GB64 Recommended Games...

Fury, The
Neo-Rio says: An overlooked gem. It's NASCAR with guns and powerups. Not so easy but not too difficult either. I found it very playable.

Last Battle
Neo-Rio says: This game is actually the Nintendo "Hokuto-no-ken" game for the C64. Hokuto-no-ken is, of course, the Japanese animation where martial artists punch way too much and kick people's heads off. Fun game though.

Sword of Fargoal, The
Neo-Rio says: Heh heh! I like these ancient RPG games! "Sword of Fargoal" actually has an ending though.... if you can find the sword, that is....

Orc Attack
Neo-Rio says: The first game I played from disk! Somebody read "Lord of the Rings" one too many times and came up with this game. It's surprisingly fun and panic inducing to hold off endless waves of orcs.

Thrust
Neo-Rio says: Thrust is much like the old Atari game Gravitar, except this is way more playable and challenging. I always liked blowing the nuke reactor up before leaving the planet.

Archon
Michael Plate says: Addicting two player arcade board game. A real classic!

Hero Quest
Neo-Rio says: Not a bad conversion of the Milton Bradley board game. With a series of quests it becomes more like a simplified RPG - which means it's very easy to get into.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth, A
Neo-Rio says: A playable little platform game, as you try to get your little man down to the center of the Earth. No doubt you'll get a surprise when you get there!

3D Pool
Neo-Rio says: Arguably the best billiards game on the C64. The graphics are great, and the computer opponents are pretty good players too.
