Can't load GameBase

Thu Nov 14, 2013 8:32 am

Hi,

I've downloaded the last GameBase version. But, when i try to launch I've an error. It's a standard error of Windows, something like "This program has terminated".

So, I've downloaded jGameBase.

Is there a problem with my computer? Do you have already seen that problem ?

Another little question. Does GameBase exist in portable version ? It would be very great !

Thanks a lot.

YES there is

It would help to know your system OS, and install location.
But i would say the problem is with your current install.

download this version.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gamebase/

uninstall all previous versions of gamebase, and re-install to
C:\Gamebase (very important if using win7 or win8)
run it with administrator priviliges.

Not exactly 100% portable, but try running "GBRegRun.exe" instead of "Gamebase.exe".
