ZX81.7z (130.34MB).

For the TZX EXTRAS to work.
you must include your GAMES path as an EXTRAS path.
i remember the fist game i saw on a ZX81 was a type-in from a book or magazine called Stunt Bike. (i think)
the object of the game was to jump over busses on your bike.
similar to the c64 game...
Daredevil Dave 09418
if you know where i can get hold of the listing or file.
please let me know.

i remember doing the same type in on the spectrum the first i got it
i really liked it(because it was my first type in).
i think you can get it through the first book you got with the spectrum
horizons or something like that

| Is this gamebase actually still available somewhere? The link above doesn't work anymore. i'd appreciate it if someone could reupload it or point me to another place where it's available. I'll provide a couple of mirrors then. |

|
|
Hi, Basemen
As in the title, i am looking for a working link for ZX81 GB.
I bought the kit for the ZX81 and put it together, because it was
cheaper at the time. Loved those typings in the mags. The one
i really remember was called Zax5, where you had to stop a bomb
going off by gaining access to a code. Took awhile to type that
one in. But it was brilliant.
Also remember a type-in that produced sound on the ZX81 by
switching the frequencies of the TV.
I hope someone can help, it would be so cool to have it. |

I edited my post from before, there's a new working link now there.
I was wondering though, was the real Zx81 display really "white" or would using grey be more accurate for emulation? Of course, the video connections back then were worse, not RGB and you'd have scanlines, but still.
Example:

i would guess it's meant to be white.
But everything looked kinda grey on a black and white TV. |

Thanks for the link.
I am downloading it now.
Yeah. the screen was suposed to be white, but off-white
because of the way the tv screen was displayed.
Thanks again for the link.
