I've been using GameBase for a while and I love it! I use it primarily for console emulators, and it works great.
I've encountered one issue recently. The MESS emulator won't launch games from GameBase and I'm not sure why that is. MESS is a multiple system emulator (for home computers and consoles) inspired by MAME. MAME launches just fine from GameBase. Does anyone have any idea why MESS would not?
If it makes a difference, I'm using the the GUI version of each, MAMEUI and MESSUI (instead of the command line versions). As I said, MAMEUI gives no problems.

Thanks! I modified the GEMUS script for ColecoVision (the system I use MESS for) and it works perfectly.user42 wrote:Here is GB Vectrex...

I don't use "full" single system gamebases. I like using the frontend to launch games for mulitple systems, so I make a generic "Games" gamebase and add emulators, game files, and screen shots (no extras really). If I want to view games from just one system at a time I create a filtered list view.
