An example of where the database file may be located (notice how the folder name & file name match):
C:\Gamebase\Gameboy Advance\Gameboy Advance.mdb
The folder name & the .MDB file name need to match exactly for the frontend to see it.Halcyon wrote:As title says, i load gamebase and when i go to select which gamebase i want and its just not there.
I have many gamebase`s installed already but this just wont show?.

Re: Game Boy Advance
A quick search in your browser will show ROM or torrent links.
The complete rom packs are between 4GB (merged) and 12GB (single).
You must then use the Rom Center DAT file included to rename and filter out all the bad roms for the GameBase.

GBAGBv1.7z.

Just choose the correct dat of your rom collection, PURE or RELEASE version.
PURE = clean rom (protection intact) *latest emulators will still work for most.
RELEASE = (sram hacked /trainer included) *rom also works on real hardware with flash-cart.
Re: Game Boy Advance
It's in the "ROM dat files" folder of the main GB setup.

I think I'm going crazy. I'm not able to make gamebase find the roms.
I downloaded a roms collection not intro from the following link: https://www.epforums.org/showthread.php ... ht=gameboy + advance + rom + set. and I put all the roms in 7z format in a folder.
With romcenter I have created a new database with the Pure (CM).dat file. I have added the roms folder that I downloaded with the following result: Updating the state of the games
Updated status for 2792 objects.
Games correct (green): 2773, Games to fix (yellow): 0, games damaged or missing (red): 19
Updating the list of files
Requesting the list of routes.
Execution time: 0h 0m 39s
Ready to start!

Re: Game Boy Advance
I have selected the roms in yellow and Menu-advanced-rename roms with the following result:
Already in gamebase I have copied the roms.7z in the root of the folder roms, I have edited the folder paths and renamed GBA (PURE) .mdb as GBA.mdb (the same as the gamebase). I check the files and this is all I get.
