Just downloaded GBC09 and installed it. Flicking through the games to put into favourites and for some reason when I move on to Arkanoid (whether clicked or moved to using cursor keys) Gamebase seems to hang.
I never had this issue with previous GB64, and not sure if it may be my system or a conflict. But wondered if anybody else has had the same problem or if its just me.

There seems to be a few Arkanoid games. Are you referring to the first one just named Arkanoid with noting else in the name?
I see a slight delay sometimes when I select it, but not always. Not having any other trouble with it though. It seems to have a lot of screenshots & extras. I do find it odd that the 7th screenshot is one of the default Gamebase 64 Screenshot Unavailable images.

I was just poking around in the Gamebase using a quickview looking at games with crazy hacks, and it crashed when I selected Arkanoid. I can't get it to crash again after restarting the program though. I run on Win7 64-bit btw.
I couldn't get all of the crash details page on 1 screen, so I combined 2 images. Thats why it looks a bit funny.

I have had gamebase crash for me in the past.
after deleting some extras files the filter used.
it couldn't find them and crashed it.
to repair it i had to delete ALL the filters in Access.
then compact and repair the GameBase file.
looking at the MDB file several filters have been created and deleted.
so maybe when you created a new favourite filter it corrupted.
try scan and fix errors from gamebase tool box.
and see if it crashes again.
Edit:
You could also try verify all available files from menu,
to check for any missing files.

i think the problem is with the gamebase name. see this...
