|
|
hello,
this is my first post here, hopefully you can help me finding a datfile for v07 games in order to rename the collection of c64 games that i already have.
im also looking for a batchfile, that will move the games to the correct folders afterwards, as i still have them in one folder.
would be great, if there is a chance to do it this way, as i dont want to download the big v07 package.
thanks in advance |

unless your collection of disks are from a previous version of GameBase.
i am sorry to say,
a RomCenter dat would be useless.
but after running the dat against v5 of gamebase,
you would still have thousands of files missing.
just to recap.
you need the big download.
torrent available on PirateBay and Underground Gamer. |

GamebaseAddict/GB64fan posted update v05-v07 packages along with clrmame dats in usenet (abem + abcbm) back in February.
The update package for v05-v07 games was about 39 megs, and the update package for v05-v07 extras was 910 megs. It even rebuilt the files into the proper structures if you followed the instructions for clrmame and unzipping.
Obviously you need v05 to use it though... _________________ Gamebase64 Team Member http://www.gamebase64.com

thanx for the hints and sorry for the late reply.
so my good 3.00 collection is of no use, thats what i feared
im on a slow connection, so 5gb over torrent will take me ages, if it works at all.
split packages would be great, but i guess there is no way to direct download the whole v07 games separately, right? |

uploading just the games, is still going to be 700MB.
at least with the torrent you can resume the download if you loose your slow connection. The wait will be worth it.
or try asking someone to download it for you.
That's how i got my first copy.
failing all other options.
send me 2 blank DVDs with return postage
and i will do you a copy.
PM me if your interested. |
