Error - Argument '5' not valid for option '-joydef2'

Hi,

if i used WinVICE 3 versions some games dont start and shows an error

what is it and what can i do

Without Gamebase64 only in emulator works these games :cry:

you need to edit the WinVICE.txt script for your USB connected joystick settings.
The error could be, you only have 1 joystick connected so value "5" is too much for you.

-joydev1 <number>
-joydev2 <number>

0: None, 1: Numpad, 2: Keyset 1, 3: Keyset 2, 4: Joystick 1, 5: joystick 2

search for all lines containing text "joydev"
change -joydev2 value to 0 or 1

it will be nice if a new version of gamebase includes a commented version of WinVICE.txt with such infos as this
