04937 (Mondu's Fight Palace) bugged in GB64 Collection

Mon Oct 06, 2003 1:28 pm

Game consists of 2 sides; 2nd side does not load in any emulator (TDE set on or off).

To reproduce:
- load the game
- answer anything to the questions, then choose Player vs. Computer
- go for a fight, and let it go to its end (win it or not, does not matter)
- go for another fight
- it will ask to insert Side 2, but NO WAY for it to understand that you've done it.

Best regards to all of you!

AFAIK there's only one version around, which has a non-working B side. I have the ntsc version on my site, but it's not cracked.

If you modify the disk labels of the I+T crack to "TONGUE SIDE 1,01 2A" and "TONGUE SIDE 2,01 2A" the game accepts the disk change.

Could you please playtest the resulting version?

Thanks Michael :D

The volume name change did it, and it seems to work (at least it actually accepts disk changes, as you stated).

Thanks again!
