Always nice to have another addition to the collection.
The 'lesser' popular (don't flame me!) computers are always overlooked (and concoles, unfortunately!), and to have the database (with perhaps extras, EG artwork scans, inlay scans etc) makes for a more complete retro experience.
Good luck, and when you think the tedium makes you want to stop, back off for a while and go back with a fresh aproach!

Regards,
Arthur.

I plan to release a database up date for GB BBC sometime over the weekend, it will just overwrite the previous versions database and link to many more games.

as a polite request (?), in the notes section, perhaps include the keys to use for each game (a lot of games use different 'standards' for input (up,down, left, right, fire etc)
Great fun playing repton tho!

Hi.

With permission from hardmann I am updating Gamebase BBC and Gamebase Electron. I am almost finished updating it and it will be ready in a week or two at the most.

The updates I have done are as follows :-

Added tape support as beebem version 2.82 incorporates tape loading from command line.

I have modified the gamebase script to include support for loading tapes into beebem. I have done this as there still are a few tapes that have been excluded from gamebase BBC because they could not be transferred on disk for reasons. I have also added to the gamebase script support for the second processor so the BBC B games that required 64k can now work properly.

Added missing games that were not in Gamebase BBC v2 and added tape games including some RARE ones that are not available anywhere else on the web.

Added more screenshots for the games that I added including game info etc.

Added other misc stuff too.

I am still finalizing this such as adding missing games and will release it within the next week or two at the most.

S.S.

Can't wait to see the updated version of Gamebase BBC, many thanks for continuing the project. Busy doing the Atari800 Gamebase which is a much larger job.
