Hi Pieter,
I stalled sorting through lots of corrupt BASIC listings.
Just don't have the energy to fix them all.

I should just get it tested, repacked and uploaded.
will let you know as soon as it's ready.

Offering help???
YES PLEASE!

Are you familiar spotting and fixing typo's in TI BASIC?.
These can be viewed and edited as .TXT files in notepad.

I have lot's of games typed in from French magazines.
The listing scans are available, but some games have gfx bugs or crash.

Also i am looking for a patched TI994a ROM for MAME.
which will free up the BASIC and Disk Drive memory, without the need for longwinded commands and minimem.

Insert mini memory, SELECT Tibasic, then type...
CALL FILES(1)
NEW
OLD DSK1.ADVMANIA
SAVE EXPMEM2
CALL LOAD(-31888,63,255)
NEW
OLD EXPMEM2
RUN

Classic99 has the extra command CALL FILES(0).
which does the job perfectly.
so if you know what gets patched in the rom, i would love to know.

Hey all, a post on Reddit revealed that GBTI is missing some software that the WHTECH FTP (https://ftp.whtech.com/) has - any chance of doing an update to include the missing titles? Thanks in advance, and thanks for making GBTI!

Hi,

Quite a few games have been added to the GameBase since the v2.1 (2013) release.
So most will already be in the current archive, including many NEW Home Brew titles.

My current GB total is 4275 entries.
but this does contain a few duplicate versions of games.

OX and I know about that site and have the COMPLETE archive. ;)
While it contains approx 40,000 disk images, most games are duplicated several times on different compilation disks.
Finding the best (less buggy) version of a magazine type-in is almost impossible.
We just don't have the time to sort through them all, to find a handful of missing titles.

If you create a list with the title and disk file name of games you know are missing?.
i will verify add them.

I realized this morning that Intrigue Software's Santa and the Goblins (https://www.ti99iuc.it/web/index.php?pa ... 3Qq0OzML9E) isn't in the TI GameBase. Just wanted to pass that info along. Thanks, .mad.!

thanks for the info. i did add it in my copy (2019/2020).

i started repacking all the compilation disks at the same time and working on a better (quicker) way to load the more complicted games (less sendkeys).
quite a lot of Magazine listing games can now be loaded as loose TIFILES (BAS), instead of a disk image.
each ZIP contains a text file of the game listing included for much easier bug fixing.
there are many versions of each game, all containing plenty of typos.
i started fixing a few from the magazine scans.

it also has a custom build of MAME/MESS with a few bug fixes for TEXAS Disk and Carts.

all work stopped when i got covid, i just didn't have the energy or concentration to continue.
now GB2 is in development (still a long way off). Jimbo has written a converter and toolbox to copy the old GB1 databases to the new format.
so any Texas updates will probably appear with GB2.

*If you have somewhere to host the files?, i might upload.
*my MEGA folder is full.

these are the new games i added...
most of the Hebdo magazine listings ### are duplicated on compiation disks, but these are split into files and are less buggy.
